Why I do not recommend to use the agency`s translating/interpreting services

I believe it`s crucial for your relationship to have an independent 3-rd party who`ll just do her work and not interfere.

Why?

1) The agencies are usually more expensive than independent translators.
Example: my rate is $30 per hour (a discount rate is only $25 per hour).
Most agencies charge more.

2) It came to my attention recently that some dating agencies when translating letters from a woman, sometimes add stuff she has never written!

What can that be?

Offering that agency`s apartments for rent when you come over, their translators, guides, drivers, handling your visa invitation, etc.
Of course, you`ll need help to come over anyway, but I think you deserve to choose yourself what`s best for you.

3) Agencies are in this business for the money, they do not care if you two like each other or not. If they see the lady has no interest in you, they may not tell you the truth but incourage to go on, so they could profit.

4) You may think the agency`s translators might be better than some independent gal doing it on her own. Right?
Well, those so-called 'professional' translators are often just college students or former English teachers whose level of English is quite poor and limited to what they`ve learned in the books. My English was polished in Britain and now US. It`s a huge part of my life, not only a job.
Plus, I can always help your lady understand what you mean, since I live in the States and know the way of life here as well as the Russian way of life.

My advise: get her phone number ASAP and start calling without agency`s participation.
